As most of you know for the last three or four days I have been really sick. I was told, 'it is just a case of the flu,' and that I would be fine with some rest. WRONG. Turns out I have a kidney infection. Yeah, not to nice, and definitely a LOT WORSE then the flu. I will spare you all the gross details, but in short, at like 2:00am I starting having the worst pain I have ever had in life on my right side, where my appendix and kidney are located. By 2:30am I couldn't stand it and was screaming bloody murder and woke up my room mates and made them drive me to the E.R. It was not fun. I can't remember much from when I left to when I got into see a nurse, because of the pain, but I do remember having to walk through metal detectors to get in and it made me really freaking mad. Like if I am near death, who has time to fool around with metal detectors? Anyway, the rest is all pretty traumatic because I was all alone in the E.R. with freaking two I.V.s in my arm, while they ran a series of tests. My nurse was pretty nice, she was from Queens, New York, and she had a fun accent. I was afraid to go to sleep because they were coming in and out of my room for like the first few hours and every time they opened the door it scared the crap out of me. I lied in the bed and thought about how much I hate Orlando, and how I was afraid to be there alone, and then I remembered two things, 2nd Timothy 1:7 'God has not given us a spirit of fear but of Love and a Sound Mind.' And I can't remember which verse this is but, 'The peace the surpasses all understanding.' So I prayed on those two things, and then called the necessary people. aka Mom, Ga-Ga, Mar'Kyle, Vanessa. Once the nurse gave me pain meds, I started to feel so sleepy. It kind of made me feel drunk. Not like, 'oh haha the world is great drunk' but like 'omg someone must have spiked my drink because I am so freaking sick omg.' In the end I was discharged this morning at 8:00am and given a whole bunch of strong medication to fix the infection and help with pain and nausea. I got an ugly band-aid thing for my arm where the I.V.'s were, and cool bracelet like the one the homeless guy had. Except, mine was legit, not stolen from a baby. I have to go back in the morning to have one more blood test done, because my white blood cell count was so high, and so was my blood pressure and my heart rate. Besides that, as long as this medication works, I should feel better within about a month. The only other sucky thing is, I can't drink anything but water for the first ten days of my medication. STUPID. Then I am aloud 'juice in moderation' but NO soda, and NOTHING carbonated for a month. I called and told Disney I had the paper work saying I would be required off work for at least the next two days, and the stupid lady was like, 'we can't take notes from your primary doctor.' I was like, 'it was the Emergency room, I am not from here, my primary doctor is from St. Louis.' She was like, 'You need to go see Disney Health Services.' I was like, 'They were the ones who said I had the flu, and clearly, that was not it.' She was like, 'Well take your paper work to them and I guess they will see what they can do.' So whatever, that is fine, I will take it to them whenever I get better and am able to return to work.

The Update
I know it has been forever and a day since the last time I have 'blogged' about anything. I am sorry about that, I just have been less then loving my time at Disney. Anyway that is besides the point, you all want to know what's new with me.... so here it goes:
I work almost everyday, and I am EXHAUSTED by the time I get home, then I take a shower, eat dinner (usually Ramon or pizza rolls) call my mom, call Mar'Kyle, and then fall asleep on the phone and wake up and do the same thing all over again.
Luckily I was able to find people to take my shifts for work, so I had several days off back to back and went to see Mr. Rondon in Atlanta. IT WAS SO FUN! It was nice to get away from Disney for a few days and back in the real world, and it made me realize how much I miss my Stephens Sisters, and even #O'Town. We went to the zoo and got lost on the bus, where we had to ride for like and hour and a half and sit in front of this scary work-release place where real life convicts got on the bus, and this other random white girl got off and went into a half-way house. Mar'Kyle was mad about being on the bus, and I was kind of scared being there, so I just started laughing and found the whole thing really exciting, and then Mk got mad, so I shut up. Then we made it back to the Marta station and all was well. I am glad I was raised in an environment where I was happy and healthy and did not have to accept crime as a daily part of my life. Seeing some of the women at the half-way house really made me want to finish school and get my life together so when I start to have kids I can afford to raise them in a healthy environment and they will not have to see dangerous or frightening places like that until they too are dumb and get lost on a bus. haha.
That night we were walking back from a movie and a homeless man came up to us and said "ya'll holdin' hands?!" Markyle: "uh yes sir" Hm (homeless man): Well that's good, that's good, you know why? Mk: Why? Hm: That means y'all are communicating, I wouldn't hold any body's hand for more then 3 seconds, but she (looking at me) is real pretty so I might hold her hand. (then he laughs and sticks out his hand for me to 'pound it'.... I just stare at his dirty looking hand) Hm: Come on just pound it, I won't bite, I don't got no teeth!! HAHAA I might nibble but I won't bite! Me: omg. (then I laughed for a second, i didn't think it was that funny but Mk thought it was THE FUNNIEST THING EVER. I was mad.) Hm: What's your name? Me: Nicole. Mk: uh, Kyle. Hm: Kyle and Nicole? Y'all are on a soap opera! hahaahahahaa. Me: what? Hm: Look y'all let me cut to the chase, I am homeless, I know I am ugly, but my insulin shots got stolen, I got a new prescription, from Walgreens, the co-pay is $4.99 and I have $2.00 can you help me out? (Then this man pulls out one of those hospital bracelets you get whenever you go there and stay over night, this fool was all, 'i just got out of the hospital' shows us this bracelet, IT'S TINY IT WAS A FREAKING NEW BORN BABY HOSPITAL BRACELET!!!) Mk:no man sorry, have a good night. Hm: thanks you too, God will bless y'all. Me: (under my breath) he won't bless you you steal from babies!!!
I am telling you, it was a cultural experience, my last trip to Atl. Anyway, besides that, nothing exciting has happened to me.

Disney is SO the drama
So I have not updated my blog recently because I have been sooooooo exhausted from working all day long outside in the heat, with crazy people. I am telling you, guests here are nuts. Moms here are nuts. I have never in life been cussed out in so many different languages in one day, no one HOUR, in my life. EVER. Half of the time it's these crazy mothers that want their kids to have pictures and the kid like really doesn't care either way, but the parent is so set on getting a picture with a character that they will stop at nothing until they either get it, or get removed from the line/park. I wish I were aloud to give all of my examples of crazy mothers, but considering most of them ALL of them involve someone calling me a B***h, I probably shouldn't. And I am sure since Disney is so freaking stupid about 'protecting the magic' I am going to get in some kind of trouble for talking about it. I guess I can say one of the milder cases that happened to me last week...
I was working with Tigger and Pooh, and I had to close their line because they were getting ready to go to the parade. They are finishing up the last two families and this freaking 6 foot 5 amazon women comes barrelling over toward me, like running a freaking marathon, and is like screaming at her kids, "GET YOUR ASSES OVER HERE!! DAMN IT! HERE'S POOH I KNOW YOU LOVE POOH COME HERE!! LUKE GET HER AND GET OVER HERE!!!" So I politely say to her, "I am sorry, Pooh and Tigger are finishing up with their last family now, they are in the parade. However, if you want to see them, they will be back here again afterwards around 3:45." Do you know what this lady says?!!! She is like, "What do you mean their last family?!?!?!?!?!!!! I PAYED $85 A PERSON TO GET IN HERE AND WE ARE SEEING POOH!!" I'm all, "unfortunately Pooh and Tigger are going in to get ready for the parade, but like I said, they will return around 3:45." She is like "YOU ARE MESSING UP OUR WHOLE TRIP!! F**K DISNEY!! F**K YOU!! YOU ARE A PSYCHO-DREAM-KILLING-B***H I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL!!! WHY THE F**K DO YOU EVEN HAVE CHARACTERS OUT HERE IF YOU DON'T LET KIDS SEE THEM?!!! F**K YOU!!!" I was like, "I am sorry you are upset, however, they will be back around 3:45 and if you would like to voice a complaint you can go to guest relations, it is just through that door to the left. Thank you have a magical day."
So she just stormed off, didn't go to guest relations, she knew she was a big amazon idiot.
And the thing is, is that is a mild case. Like I am seriously cussed out every day, and it is for no reason, people are just crazy. I just feel so done with Disney right now because they are just like, 'oh yeah, that's too bad, yeah character attendants get cussed at sometimes.' well mine is not 'sometimes,' it's EVERY TIME. I just hope the rest of my time here goes by quickly so I can get my internship credit and get the hell out of here and back to my Stephens Sisters and normal life. I thought I was un-happy in Como. Smh. That place in paradise in comparison to this hole. Not to mention I don't really have any friends any way and now instead of only missing Mar'Kyle all the time, I am missing my Mom and Sister, and my Stephens Sisters, AND Mar'Kyle. EVERYDAY. ugh. I wish I could fast forward time to when I am doing something fun. Ugh. Now I am about to go to bed because I have to go and deal with crazies all day tomorrow too.

The Guy, The Gay, and The Girl
Yesterday, I finished my training with Disney. It was fun, and I was excited to be done, and I am looking forward to being out on my own!
After our training was over, our training group, (so like 9 other people) decided it would be cool if that night we went to "Fantasmic." It is a show based inside Mickey's imagination, and there is water, and music and fire, and involves all of the classic movies, so if you ever get a chance to see it, you should. I cried during the Pocahontas part. ha ha. Anyway, so my friends Joey (the guy) and Jayson (the gay) invited me (the girl) to go. Well, the other girls in my group like hate me for no reason, and I was not planning on going anyway, because I wanted to take this party bus to this club called 'Bliss' but I found out the Jersey Shore cast was supposed to be there so I figured the cover would be ridiculous, so I didn't go. I came back and got dressed and the three of us went to Magic Kingdom, and we rode Splash Mountain, and I was soaked. Sometimes, you can get lucky if you sit in the back, and you will not get wet, but that was not one of those times. Then we ate dinner at this cool burger place where you like order your stuff on this touch-screen computer and then 2 seconds later it is ready. It was really delicious. After that, we rode the monorail to Hollywood Studios because that is where "Fantasmic" is. Since we had like an hour before the show, we rode Hollywood Tower of Terror. I FREAKING CRIED!!! IT WAS SOOOOO SCARY!!!! This little boy was in the line in front on us, and he was telling me not to worry, and not to be afraid, and it was a good ride and stuff. He was soooooo cute. Then he was like, bet you can't guess my name, what's yours. I was like, Amanda. He was like well mine, yeah, mine starts with a 'D'. (earlier I heard his mother talking and she was like Dylan get over here) so I was like, Oh, I remember, that's right..... Your name is Dylan. He was like HOW DID YOU KNOW?! I was like, I work for Mickey and he told me you were going to be here! He was like, MOM MOM MOM MOM MICKEY KNOWS I AM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His mom was like, yeah honey. It was soooooo cute!!
After Tower of Terror, we went over to the line for "Fantasmic." It was soooo long, but since the other people we work with were standing in line, we were close to the front. So we walk over, and this Super annoying girl Meg, acknowledges Joey, and then looks at Jayson and rolls her eyes, and looks at me and says '.....um aren't you supposed to be on a bus somewhere?' I wanted to say, 'aren't you supposed to be knitting somewhere?' but instead I said, 'my plans changed, and sorry to disappoint you.' and she just stood there looking stupid. She is annoying. Like I can describe all of the ways she annoys me, but she really does. And the other day she like told this long story for no reason about being in an elevator and it plunging 8 floors. Yeah right, first of all, elevators use hydraulics now, so it is not going to plunge anywhere, and second, if it did break or something, she would slowly go all the way to the ground until it stopped. So she is also a pathological liar. Just like she said something about being in 'Nine' at her high school, but she couldn't remember who she was. For real? I don't know a single high school that would let a theatre department do that musical, but whatever. I think it was the only musical she has ever seen, so she was trying to be cool. Ugh. She is stupid.
Anyway, so we get up to the seating and we somehow got separated from them. How did that happen? And we ended up in the very front and didn't have to see them ever again. It was super fun. Then we went to go home, and it started raining and I got wet and it took well over an hour to make it back.
All in all it was a fun night, even though 'Meg' makes me mad. She is nuts.
Oh and the whole "The Guy, The Gay and The Girl" is going to be the name of our sitcom because we are sooooo hilarious, ABC def will want to make a sitcom about our adventures together. It will be like 'Will and Grace" except better, and funnier.

I'm ill, as in, im sick, not like Weezy F. Baby
So I woke up when my alarm went off at 5:30am. I am not happy about that. I had a headache and a stuffy nose, and then I realized it was allergies. I made it to the bus on time, the right bus, and then rode to a location in Animal Kingdom. I did training there today. Due to my contract with Disney I am not aloud to talk about training.
However, I can talk about lunch time! So, during my lunch time I met these girls who where from China, and they were from two different sides of the country and they explained to me how there are different dialects in China, like how there are accents in the U.S. Except we can understand the people who are from the north, south, east, or west, and we all speak 'English,' in China, while they all speak what is considered 'Chinese,' the people from the north, south, east, and west can not understand each other. They gave me an example by each saying the phrase, 'Hello, How are you?' The girl Audrey said it very short and harsh, and it took about as long as it does for an English-speaking person to say it, whereas, Matoshig said it with long 'O' and 'U' sounds and it took her almost twice as long, to say the exact same thing. I asked them since everyone in China is required to learn English, and they couldn't understand one another in the different Chinese dialects, could they speak English to each other? They said no, they would not do that because it is looked down upon in China to speak English, unless dealing with a business transaction involving other countries, or tourist. I thought that was pretty weird, but kind of cool. Then I asked if they knew each other prior to coming to the Disney College Program, and they said no, and that if they were in China, they probably never would have become friends because it is also 'socially displeasing' to be friends with people outside your language barrier thing. China has a lot of strange customs.
After lunch we went back training, which once again I am not aloud to talk about.
Then it was time to go, and I rode a shuttle bus to the regular bus stop. However, because the shuttle bus ran a little late, I missed the 4:30pm bus and had to wait an hour for the 5:30pm bus. While I was waiting, it began to torrential downpour, and of course I had no umbrella, and I am in nice business clothes, and my shirt is white and ruffly, and I had great hair, but it all got ruined from the stupid rain. I had to stand in the rain waiting for the bus for 35min, so when I got on the bus, I was freezing cold, and my allergies were like 50times worse. Then it took an hour to get back to the bus stop near my apartment, where I had to walk another ten min in the rain to make it back. While I was on the bus, this boy named Taylor decided he wanted to talk to me. So he is asking about my school blah blah blah, and all that, and then he was like, 'can I get your number, you are so beautiful, I would love to take you out on the town sometime.' Tell my why I laughed right in this dudes face and then said, 'I am not too sure what that means. But I will take your number how about that?' So he gave me his number, which I deleted as soon as he got off the bus, and the whole time I am thinking like, "there is no way I look 'beautiful' right now, he is a creepy pervert because I have on this sopping wet dress shirt." So I make it back to my apartment still dripping wet, get in the shower, eat a handful of wheat-thins, and lie down and sleep until 11pm.
I wake up and decide I can not wait until tomorrow to go and get meds from walmart, and so i look at the bus route thing and it says there is a walmart bus coming at 12:17, so I go out to the stop around 12. I am there alone for a while, and then these 3 French men come up and sit opposite me on the bench. They are like, "you go to house of blues?" I am like, " no, walmart to get medication." then the boy in red is like "we leave the states in 2 weeks, we are very sad, come out with us, beautiful girl aways make us feel better. you have fun, tomorrow we make dinner for you and your friends." I was like, "that's nice, but I can't, thanks." When really I was thinking, they are freaking weird, and french boys are NOTHING like they are in the Mary-Kate and Ashley movie, "Passport to Paris."
I finally got on the bus and went to Wal-mart, got some 24hour subway, and then waited another 40 min for the bus to come back. My roommate Erin is so sweet, she found out I was gone and waited up until I came back, and when I opened the door, she was reading the bus schedule, and was like, I was getting worried, I am glad you made it back! She is so sweet.
Overall, today kind of sucked, but whatever. I have to be up in 3 hours, so I am going to bed. Good night.
Good night.

I missed the bus
SO. Why did I wake up at 5:30, get dressed, make it to the stupid bus ON TIME (i know right?!) get on the WRONG BUS because I can not read a bus route, sit there FOREVER, watch the RIGHT bus drive past me, not knowing then it was the right bus, as the wrong bus driver when is she leaving because I will be late, and she... says, 7:30. FOOL THEN WHY THE HECK WERE YOU HERE AT 6:25 WHEN MY BUS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE?! UGH!!! defeated.
so i ended up calling the lady who does all the training stuff, and she is all, it is not a big deal, we can reschedule. she was nice, but i am so mad, because i really made it on to the stop on time, actually 5 min early. I am sad. :(
Then I came home and tried to take a nap, but I didn't feel well, so I couldn't fall asleep. It has been kind of a stupid day. Ugh. I hope tomorrow will be better.

Traditions and Magic Kingdom
We had to wake up at the butt-crack of dawn to do this thing called Traditions. It was cool, but because of the contract I signed with Disney, I am not aloud to talk about what it was, or what we learned or did. But, for the most part it was fun.
Then last night we (me and the roomies) went to Magic Kingdom! It was SO EXCITING!!! Cinderella's castle was soooooo BEAUTIFUL!!! And since it was night, it was warm outside, but we were not too hot, and none of the lines were longer then 20min. The first thing we did was climb through 'The Swiss Family Robinson' tree house, which was cool, but too many stairs. Next we went to the 'Pirates of the Carrbian' ride, and it was like soooooooooo cool looking!! The special affects were great, and even though it was boat ride, it still had smallish hills, and the 'element of surprise.' It was fun and really wish my sister would have been there because she would have freaked out because the Jack Sparrow guy looks SO FREAKING REAL!! Then we met up with some friends we met at the pool party names, Anthony and Ryan. They have been at Disney 3 months longer then us, so they knew the fastest ways to get to the good rides. We then got stuck because there was a parade going through, but it was okay because it was SOOOOOO PRETTY! Tinkerbell was sooooooo cute and everyone was lit up with lights and glow things on there costumes and Alice talked to me, and Minnie and Mickey were SOOOOO cute!! I wish my mom would have been able to see that, because she thinks stuff like that is cool. I tried to call her so I could describe what I was seeing and she could be there kind of, but as soon as sh picked up my phone died. :( Then we rode splash mountain!! IT WAS SOOOOOO FUN!!!!!!! I wanted to ride the 'small world ride' but it is closed down due to refurbishment. :( Then we went to Thunder Mountain which is that cool train roller-coaster they would show on my Disney VHS with the purple box when I was little. I had always wanted to ride it, so I was really excited when we did. It was kind of lame, but I am glad I was able to go on it. Then we went to this like Mickey 4-D symphony show, and IT WAS THE COOLEST 4-D SHOW I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO!!!! Plus I knew all the songs so I sang along!! It made me feel like a little kid!! Then we were going to go on Snow White's forest adventure, but we ended up going to THE HAUNTED MANSION!!!
Everyone is all, it is not scary blah blah blah. And I am like thinking, okay the last time I did it I was like 3 or something, so maybe this time I can handle it. WRONG. They brought us in this room and then they turned out the lights and it was pitch black and I screamed the whole time until the lights came back on. Then you get in these like moving cart things that takes you around the mansion. I was doing okay again until the very end where the guy was all 'we have hitch hiking spirits that will follow you home' and I look up and it is this mirror, and IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS A REAL LIVE GHOST SPIRIT THING SITTING ON MY LAP!!!!!!!!!!!! I cried. Like seriously for 5 min after it was over. Then I was mad I went on it. Then it was time to leave because the park was closing.
We rode a Ferry back to where the car was parked. It was nice and breezy on the water. All in all it was a good night, but I am still upset about that ghost.
