I'm ill, as in, im sick, not like Weezy F. Baby

So I woke up when my alarm went off at 5:30am. I am not happy about that. I had a headache and a stuffy nose, and then I realized it was allergies. I made it to the bus on time, the right bus, and then rode to a location in Animal Kingdom. I did training there today. Due to my contract with Disney I am not aloud to talk about training.
However, I can talk about lunch time! So, during my lunch time I met these girls who where from China, and they were from two different sides of the country and they explained to me how there are different dialects in China, like how there are accents in the U.S. Except we can understand the people who are from the north, south, east, or west, and we all speak 'English,' in China, while they all speak what is considered 'Chinese,' the people from the north, south, east, and west can not understand each other. They gave me an example by each saying the phrase, 'Hello, How are you?' The girl Audrey said it very short and harsh, and it took about as long as it does for an English-speaking person to say it, whereas, Matoshig said it with long 'O' and 'U' sounds and it took her almost twice as long, to say the exact same thing. I asked them since everyone in China is required to learn English, and they couldn't understand one another in the different  Chinese dialects, could they speak English to each other? They said no, they would not do that because it is looked down upon in China to speak English, unless dealing with a business transaction involving other countries, or tourist. I thought that was pretty weird, but kind of cool. Then I asked if they knew each other prior to coming to the Disney College Program, and they said no, and that if they were in China, they probably never would have become friends because it is also 'socially displeasing' to be friends with people outside your language barrier thing. China has a lot of strange customs.
After lunch we went back training, which once again I am not aloud to talk about.
Then it was time to go, and I rode a shuttle bus to the regular bus stop. However, because the shuttle bus ran a little late, I missed the 4:30pm bus and had to wait an hour for the 5:30pm bus. While I was waiting, it began to torrential downpour, and of course I had no umbrella, and I am in nice business clothes, and my shirt is white and ruffly, and I had great hair, but it all got ruined from the stupid rain. I had to stand in the rain waiting for the bus for 35min, so when I got on the bus, I was freezing cold, and my allergies were like 50times worse. Then it took an hour to get back to the bus stop near my apartment, where I had to walk another ten min in the rain to make it back. While I was on the bus, this boy named Taylor decided he wanted to talk to me. So he is asking about my school blah blah blah, and all that, and then he was like, 'can I get your number, you are so beautiful, I would love to take you out on the town sometime.' Tell my why I laughed right in this dudes face and then said, 'I am not too sure what that means. But I will take your number how about that?' So he gave me his number, which I deleted as soon as he got off the bus, and the whole time I am thinking like, "there is no way I look 'beautiful' right now, he is a creepy pervert because I have on this sopping wet dress shirt." So I make it back to my apartment still dripping wet, get in the shower, eat a handful of wheat-thins, and lie down and sleep until 11pm.
I wake up and decide I can not wait until tomorrow to go and get meds from walmart, and so i look at the bus route thing and it says there is a walmart bus coming at 12:17, so I go out to the stop around 12. I am there alone for a while, and then these 3 French men come up and sit opposite me on the bench. They are like, "you go to house of blues?" I am like, " no, walmart to get medication." then the boy in red is like "we leave the states in 2 weeks, we are very sad, come out with us, beautiful girl aways make us feel better. you have fun, tomorrow we make dinner for you and your friends." I was like, "that's nice, but I can't, thanks." When really I was thinking, they are freaking weird, and french boys are NOTHING like they are in the Mary-Kate and Ashley movie, "Passport to Paris."
I finally got on the bus and went to Wal-mart, got some 24hour subway, and then waited another 40 min for the bus to come back. My roommate Erin is so sweet, she found out I was gone and waited up until I came back, and when I opened the door, she was reading the bus schedule, and was like, I was getting worried, I am glad you made it back! She is so sweet.
Overall, today kind of sucked, but whatever. I have to be up in 3 hours, so I am going to bed. Good night.

  1. Hey Trick,
I hope you feel better. And I'm sorry the French are creeps. I'm glad you have such nice roomies though. :)
